Talok is an early-stage venture capital investment firm dedicated to accelerating human evolution.

We have extensive experience working with some of the world’s most prominent technology companies and do all that we can to support their leadership teams as they push and pull humanity to the edges of our technological and cultural frontiers.

We help our portfolio companies scale by providing founders with capital, strategic guidance and legal expertise as they build their companies. Our investment capital is ethically sourced from family offices, high-net-worth individuals, exited founders and institutional investors around the world.

Thesis

Talok’s core investment thesis is that even in a world of machine-generated code and content, our common humanity reigns supreme.

Therefore, we believe that tomorrow’s top-performing software companies will focus on implementing human-centered design at the application layer. Additionally, we understand that product differentiation alone is no longer enough to compete in the tech industry. The next-generation of category-defining companies must build loyal audiences and resilient brands by telling authentic stories that resonate with the modern consumer. We are here for that.

Story

Tlaloc was the Aztec demi-god of rain, water and fertility.

Like Tlaloc, Talok positions itself as essential to its ecosystem: the world of startups and venture capital. We are working as hard as humanly possible to bring the metaphorical rain (capital, strategy, advice and expertise) to our LPs, partners and portfolio companies.
